On top of that, the amenities were nonexistent—no housekeeping or room service and no friendly interaction from the staff.

I recently enjoyed a stay here, and the proximity to Alvarado Park just over 4 km away was perfect for my city strolls, and I loved being just a short walk from the many dining options at The Shops at Hilltop.

Best for those who need a tired stop-over.

The check in was smooth, greeted by a lovely lady who helped us figure out where to eat nearby. The room, while not massive, had a mini-fridge which was surprisingly handy for stashing snacks.

The motel is a bit out of the way, about 8-10 miles from campus, but there are a few fast food options and a grocery store nearby. Unfortunately, I couldn't comment on the breakfast since I checked out early and didn't have time to try it. The noise level was fine during the night, but it was easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms.
